An Update from the Active Chapter

Date: 8/24/2010 to 10/15/2010
By Chris Meyer ‘2319’

President, Indiana Theta

On behalf of the entire chapter, I want to thank you for all of your
past, present, and continued support. The support we have received in
our most desperate time of need has positioned us for incredible
success both immediately and into the future. Through your generous
donations of time, funding, and hands-on efforts; Phi Delta Theta has
already built the foundation to become an elite chapter in the Purdue
community.

With your time and efforts, we have established a Chapter Advisory
Board (CAB) comprised of over 10 members, all of whom serve as mentors
and helping hands to the chapter officers. The CAB has brought in many
fresh ideas, continuity between the semesters, and higher
accountability of chapter officers. Like years past, Alumni in Action
will be hosting a telethon fundraiser, a workday, and tailgating for
the first home football game this year. The event spans from Thursday
evening to Saturday afternoon (September 9-11). If you are unable to
participate, please support the telethon and fund future improvements
for the chapter house. As the chapter is now observing the
long-standing policy of alcohol-free housing, we can now assure
preservation of any investment to chapter property. Alumni in Action
is an event that actives and alumni always look forward to, and it is
amazing to see the improvements that can take place in just one day of
labor.
